Building Great Futures Program

The Electrical League of Ohio is excited to support the Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. The Building Great Futures Program is a training initiative to demonstrate to teens that rehabbing homes can transform futures. Building Great Futures is a collaboration between Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland, Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, Youth Opportunities Unlimited and Cuyahoga County.

The program offers classroom training on safety, tool usage, and home repair. It also provides the students with on-site training in the construction trades. The goal is to introduce career opportunities and model good work ethic and behaviors. The program has been very successful for the last six years and has educated the students on financial literacy, personal stewardship, home ownership responsibilities, and opportunities.

Please join us in showing these young teens the great opportunities of what we do and how it can open doors to their future!
